Privacy - Rialto Models Online

Our privacy statement

Rialto Models will always respect the privacy of visitors and users of our website and we will take care that personal information issued to us by you will always be treated strictly confidentially. We will never - not under any circumstances - share your information with third parties. Unless this is necessary for correct dispatch of goods or in case of delivery errors, but you will always be informed of this. Currently we use services for shipping by Post.nl and DHL.

Scope of personal data of customers and enquirers we register :

We keep the next customer data on record to ensure correct handling and shipping of your order(s), in case of a firm order or recurrant orders :

- name, address, e-mail address , id. of ordered item(s), type of customer ( retail - in that case we store the VAT number as well - or private ), telephone number, website, field of interest ( for the last three items only when supplied by the customer ).

In case of "enquiries only" we keep :

e-mail address , name, address, type of customer, field of interest ( last three items only when supplied by the customer )

"Field of interest" means that we try to store collector's interest, p.e. Jaguar or British Classics, Bristol, Pick-up vehicles. Of course the customer is not obliged to provide this information, we just try to filter by this item so we are not bothering customers with items they are not interested in.

Though we are aware of customer's bank and payment data ( which is known at our bank too ), we will not store these data from customers for obvious reasons ( abuse and fraud ).

Way of registering :

Our customer data is registered in an electronic database which is not connected to Internet nor freely accessible from Internet. All data is kept secure and safe. Data is managed by one person only : J. Miedema, Parkdreef 173, 2724 ET Zoetermeer, The Netherlands.

Insight into the information we store about customers :

The customer has the right to request an overview of his / her personal data that we have stored at any time. Please email us for this information and we will notify you promptly.

Mailing lists :

By entering your data on our website mailing-list you agree to become a subscriber to our e-mailing-list. From time to time we send out mailings with new models, model updates, color variations to our subscribers. Right here the "Field of interest" becomes interesting and leading : we separate our mailing-lists on customer's interest, so as an example we will not send mailings about DAF models to Bristol customers, vice versa. Why bother a customers of which on forehand we know it is not interesting to them. You have the right to unsubscribe from our mailing lists or removing your data from our subscriber's list just by sending us an email with the subject "unsubscribe" and we will remove your data. However we will regret to let you go, but respect of customer's privacy is more important to us.

Cookie policy :

Cookies are small pieces of information which are stored by your Internet browser ( Edge, Chrome, Safari, Mozilla Firefox, to name a few ) on your computer. Rialto Models uses these cookies to recognize you at an eventually next visit to our website. Cookies enable us to collect information about the use of our services and to improve and adapt them to the wishes of our visitors. Our cookies provide information concerning personal identification. You can set your browser in a way that you do not receive any cookies while browsing our website. In that case the only thing you have to do is to open your browser "in private" mode. Besides our own cookies our provider "Site123" can store cookies as well, and depending upon the search engine ( Google, Bing etc. ) you use the search engines can store some non-personal information of you regarding statistics.
